From a young age I have dealt with unruly frizzy hair! I am of Māori descent and have a beautiful mane of Polynesian hair. 

With that beauty comes maintenance, my mum spent hundreds of dollars on products and oils that made my hair feel greasy, brittle, dry or left residue and would literally cook my hair in the sun!

From that point forward I vowed to find something that actually works, that slicked my hair down, that was long lasting, that didn't leave residue, that didn't feel heavy and made me look and feel amazing! I have been edging my hair from a young age, and I wanted something that really worked for every hair type.

After 18 months of testing and trialing thousands of ingredients and creating a product tested and created by a whole team of experts, I have finally found the solution and now I want to share it with the world by introducing Pretty slick by Lei. My very own hair slick products that actually work. Created here in Australia for all hair types!

This is safe for use on children as well so keep that unruly hair tidy all day at school and for after school activities. Confidence shouldn't cost you a fortune with products full of harmful products. I am so proud to have gone on this journey with my mum who has been my biggest supporter and who invested in me and my products for my 18th birthday, a gift that keeps giving to not just me but those who try my products, a solid foundation for my future and a dream that has truly came true for me.
